Dr Jennifer (Jen) Rowland has worked internationally as a Medical Research Fellow both in academia and industry. Since 2010, Jen has been delivering postgraduate skills courses and working as a writing consultant at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Jen has a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry), First Class Honours and PhD in Physiology, from the University of Queensland, in addition to a Bachelor of Teaching from Charles Sturt University, and a Bachelor of Economics and Development from the London School of Economics. 

Jen joined the Dean, Higher Degree Research (HDR) team in 2016. Jen is the HDR Learning Skills Advisor for the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Medicine and Health Science. Jen is currently delivering courses on Writing Skills and Conference Presentation, as well as developing and delivering other workshops and online resources for research students. Jen is available for consultation by appointment.
