Sally Purcell has had a diverse employment background across private, public and non-profit sectors with extensive experience in the higher education sector. Sally has worked in the HR & Career Development field for over 25 years working with a broad range of clients and stakeholders. Sally has a B.Arts (Visual Arts), Grad. Dip. Ed. Graduate Certificate in Education (Career Development), is a member of the Career Development Association of Australia and meets the standards of the Career Industry Council of Australia.

Sally joined the Dean, Higher Degree Research (HDR) team in June, 2015. Sally holds the newly established role as the HDR Professional Skills Program Manager and is currently working on developing a suite of workshops, online resources and networking opportunities for HDR candidates.
